I engaged a freelancer on Truelancer, sent the upfront payment, and attempted to communicate the next steps for kicking off the project. However, when I clicked send, the system locked me out. So, Truelancer took my cash, but they ain't offering any service.

Today, they shut down my account while there was still cash in it. I took out some money on November 28, and as of now, I still haven't seen a dime. Just a heads up, they might deny you your funds!

The customer support here is really lacking, and the freelancer didn’t stick to the contract. The platform didn’t do anything about it, even after I paid them to mediate. They offer low-cost services, but you get what you pay for—cheap quality. I’d recommend steering clear and going with more trustworthy sites like Fiverr. At least there, you can expect to get your money's worth.

This platform is really nice and super user-friendly. The main issue I’ve run into is that the payments take way longer than they say they will. They advertise quick payments in all their monthly and yearly plans. But here I am with a basic monthly package, and I'm stuck. Payments don’t hit my wallet even after 48 hours, and then it takes at least 4-5 days for a payout. I’ve had to wait even longer than that once.

I’ve had a really frustrating experience with their service. Since June 12, 2022, I’ve been trying to pull back a small test amount of $10 to my PayPal account. Each time, I receive an email from Kanul Rajput saying it’ll be sorted out soon or that it’s just a weekend delay. Eventually, I asked them to cancel the payment because I’m looking to switch to Payoneer. The response was that it would be canceled shortly, but that was three days ago. I’m eager to withdraw all my money since this has been the worst service I’ve encountered, yet it seems they’re holding onto my funds tightly.

I completed a couple of projects using Truelancer, and I gotta say, I was really happy with the service they offered. Nancy, my project coordinator, did a fantastic job managing everything. I'm quite impressed with how smooth and effortless the whole experience was with Truelancer.

I've tried out a bunch of freelance sites, but Truelancer is where I feel right at home.
1. It’s not packed to the brim.
2. You won’t find a ton of scammers here. Sure, there are a few, but they get booted when flagged.
3. The team and coordinators are top-notch. They even set up conference calls between clients and freelancers, which is super helpful for clearing up any confusion.
4. Payments are smooth and timely, no issues there.
5. There’s no hard sell for subscriptions or premium accounts.
6. With a cap of 20 proposals for free users, there’s a good amount of space to work with.

This site isn't trustworthy; there are crooks involved. The fake customers simply take your ideas and vanish. No work, no pay... Indian websites are definitely not reliable.

I’ve used this freelance platform both as a buyer and a seller. I placed an order with someone who finished the job fast and sent me the completed work. I accepted it and made the payment. But then, out of nowhere, Truelance blocked me for supposedly showing money exchanges to others.

I had over $100 in my account, and now I can’t get it back.

It's a decent platform, but the folks in charge of relationship management are pretty careless. They hardly ever answer calls or respond. They claim that pro members get support from a Relationship Manager, but it feels like it's all just a gimmick to attract more members.
